Of course, you can certainly draw some of your own graphics if you want to and you have the talent, but it’s important to remember that it’s the conceptualization that’s really important, not the actual drawing ability. If you’re a good designer and you have a vision for something, that’s one of the best ways to be successful with graphic design work.
Getting the right software is vital, especially if you’re going to be starting up your own business and selling what you can do to other people. You shouldn’t assume that you don’t have what it takes, or you can’t get the tools you need to gain clients. With hard work and persistence, you should be able to show the world your design ability and bring in clients who will trust you, like your work, and want to buy what you have to offer.
