Your parents probably are not interesting in most of what’s hot in gaming today. They are likely to be unimpressed in the amount of time you devote to World of Warcraft or Halo. But, if mom and dad really want you to spend some quality time with them, it doesn’t have to be all bad. There are games out there that not only might they be interested in, it might push them towards buying you the system you want. If there’s something in it for your parents, they just might see to reason. Why not bring these games up to your parents and see if they’re interested.
1.) Wheel of Fortune- Pat Sajak and Vanna White likenesses have appeared in video games since the original Nintendo system. These days, the graphics have never been better for the long running prime time television show. What’s better, there is a game out for the Nintendo Wii so if you’ve been having a hard time getting your parents to spring for a Wii then maybe this will help persuade them.
2.) Jeopardy- That’s right, Alex Trebek lends his voice to this popular video game based on the TV show that has been running for a couple of decades now. This game is also available for the Nintendo Wii so your parents could actually get both of these and if they did so at Amazon, they would probably get a good discount on the shipping.
While these games aren’t as active as the Wii fit or some of the other games made available on the Wii, it does require a little more than just clicking buttons like the older versions of the games. Stand, point and click your way to the correct answers and solving puzzles. If these games get old, there are other classics like Family Feud available as most successful TV game shows have been adapted in one form or another.
