Before you purchase the latest PC Sims game, stop and look at the system requirements on the back of the game. If you do not know if your computer meets game system requirements, look at your computer to determine what your computer can handle.
Do not make the mistake of purchasing a game before looking at the system requirements for a game. Sometimes you need to have a special video card, the latest upgrade operating system, or the game will not even work on your computer. You will need to take a close look at the operating system, processor or CPU, the memory or RAM, the hard drive, and your video input.
First, your operating system is going to determine if your computer can even read the disc when you try to install it. Make sure, if you have a MAC that the game is compatible with a MAC OS. Most new games come reprogrammed to work on both a PC and MAC computer, but it is always wise to check first.
Second, the two most important parts of the game’s system requirements is the video card and CPU requirements. The video card is used to display the game’s graphics on your computer. If you do not have the correct card, you are not going to be able to see anything. The processor (CPU) will determine how well your compute performs when you are playing the game. If you install the game and it running extremely slow, most likely your computer’s processor is not strong enough.
Third, finally, RAM is also extremely important to keeping your game running smooth. Just as the video card lets you see and the processor lets you run the game, the RAM gets you through your game quickly. If you start, having to wait for your computer to catch up with a command, then most likely your RAM is not fast enough.
