The Internet is a well known storehouse of all things free and awesome. If you want to know something and only know part of its name, it is usually very easy to find out an encyclopedia’s worth of information about it in only a matter of seconds. And the same thing also goes for music and movies- if it exists, there is a very good chance that you can fairly easily find it on the Internet. But what is really good happens when you are in the mood for something to challenge your mind and reflexes, or when you are just a little bored. The Internet is an amazing arcade that never closes and rarely costs anything for the amazing offerings contained inside of it.
Think about most of the websites where there are games. Not only are there boat loads of different websites where the games are sorted according to a particular theme (such as zombie killing games and general puzzle games), but there are also game sites where there are sections by a particular game design company. And the best part is, with most of these different websites, the entire offering is for free. So not only do you not have to worry about having to pay anything for all of the different games that you can play, you also do not have to look very hard in order to find a site that has the kind of game that you are craving.
In essence, the Internet could almost be called an endless black hole for attention. You could easily go onto it, pour all of the attention you will ever be able to give anything into it, and it will soak it up like some kind of a magical sponge that can never be filled up. Yes, a black hole is a great simile, since the Internet can just take all of the attention in the world, and never get enough.
